Penn International VIS 2-Speed Reels

The PENN International VI Series is designed and manufactured in the USA of domestic and imported components. Precision machined from high-strength, lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum in our Philadelphia machining center. Our experienced crew has been designing and producing durable, high-quality reels in this facility since 1932.  The VI consists of a large stainless steel gear train for strength and speed, and a Dura-Drag system which results in a smoother start up and virtually eliminates hesitation, even under extreme drag settings.

Penn International 16VIS – This little reel excels at seeking light tackle records. Rock solid construction, coupled with a smooth drag system ensure you won’t be disappointed. The 16VIS is best suited for fishing lighter lines.

Penn International 70VIS – The Penn 70VIS is a unique sized reel that many anglers were seeking. Beefier than a 50, but smaller and lighter than an 80 class reel; the Penn 70VIS is the perfect match up for tackling big fish with heavy standup tackle. The 70VIS is best suited for lines in 100-150lb test, for the best strength and capacity, call or email for our recommendation.

Penn International 130VIS – The big dog of the group that punishes the fish, not the angler. Smooth drags throughout the entire range and powerful two speed gearing gives you the best chance at landing that fish of a lifetime, time and time again! The 130VIS is best suited for lines in 130-200lb test.
