These guys from Southborough spent an afternoon on Tuna Hunter loading up on codfish. This inshore spot is great for a quick getaway when time is short for going out to Stellwagen or Jefferies. Key thing was to get the family together for an afternoon on the water. The usual bait and jigs apply.

Another advantage of this spot is the possibility for stripers. Unfortunately this day the striped bass were elsewhere – No worries, it was early, and we know those stripers will arrive in this spot in force any day now.
Out on the bank, giant stripers – to 30 pounds – are strolling through. Cod and haddock fishing is and will remain strong for the season.
